What it is
A small always-on home computer. The local AI (Prometheus) and ten household services run on the device, on Ubuntu Server 24.04 LTS, headless by design.
Launch lineup
One unit at launch: the DecentAI unit - mini PC class; 24 GB RAM; 500 GB NVMe; USB4, USB-A, HDMI, 2.5 GbE, audio. Specs and pricing are preliminary pending final device selection.
Privacy posture
No account required. Nothing is logged, and nothing is sent anywhere. Update checks happen only when the user asks. Advanced capabilities ship switched off; privacy is the default, not a setting. This website loads no trackers, no analytics, and no external resources.
Launch timing
Public announcement: October 1, 2026. Kickstarter: November 15, 2026 - a 30-day campaign with founding-backer pricing for the earliest backers.

Logos

The DecentAI logo in two variants: for dark backgrounds and for light backgrounds. Each comes as SVG (vector) and PNG (transparent, 2000 px wide). Keep clear space around the logo, and don't alter the mark or the wordmark.
